We can certainly understand why Ray Stevens thinks Taylor Swift might be watching him. After all, she seems to be dancing at every awards show, walking every red carpet and sneaking her face into every grocery-store checkout-lane magazine rack these days. Plus, she’s constantly popping up on Tumblr to give people romantic advice or paying off their student loans or giving them random Christmas presents. Why wouldn’t she be stalking the guy who recorded such novelty hits as The Streak and Mississippi Squirrel Revival, too?

Stevens pleads his case in his new video, Taylor Swift Is Stalkin’ Me, working in several of the omnipresent pop princess’ song titles along the way.  So maybe he’s right — or maybe it’s just a case of mistaken identity. Whatever. Worse things could happen to a guy.
