Heaven operates by FAITH. Hell operates by FEAR.
Ask yourself, "What is your greatest fear?" For some of us it's spiders, rats, or snakes. For others, it's the thought of being burned to death, buried alive, murdered, tortured, or raped.
Focus for a moment on your deepest fear. Can you feel your neck hairs stand on end or your body shudder and your stomach turn? This FEAR is the fuel that ignites the fiery pits of hell. Without Gods Salvation whatever your deepest fear is, is where your journey to hell begins. "As you read this discourse you will begin to understand what it will be like if you reject the free gift of salvation from God our Father”. (1John 4:18).
I asked the LORD during a fast and prayer time to allow me to have a glimpse of HELL. I wanted to know exactly what would await a person who has rejected Christ and His GIFT of salvation.
I told the LORD that I wanted to be able to communicate to any living human being what awaits for them if they reject Jesus. I also asked for a better glimpse of Heaven, which I will tell you about later in the book.
So the LORD revealed to me in a dream like vision what the first 7 days in hell would be like. However, let me explain, in eternity there are no days, no time reference as we know them.
7.1 billion people inhabit planet Earth. An estimate of 107 people die every minute. By the time you’ve finished reading this press release 130 people will have faced the other side of eternity, be it for better of for worse.
HELL A REAL PLACE Our curiosity about the abode of the dead is not completely satisfied by biblical terms or verses. What we do know is that either eternal torment in hell or eternal joy in heaven awaits all people after death, based on whether they trust in Christ’s payment for sin or reject Christ.

THE TRUTH ABOUT THE SONG "LIKE A ROLLING STONE" BY BOB DYLAN DYLAN MIGHT BE TELLING YOU THE TRUTH WHEN HE SAYS "I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT MEANS, WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU?'"
MUSIC FACT At an auction in 2014, Dylan's handwritten lyrics to the song fetched $2 million, a world record for a popular music manuscript.
In the November 2004 issue, Rolling Stone Magazine named this #1 on their list of the greatest songs of all time.
"Like a Rolling Stone" reached number two in the US Billboard charts, number one in Cashbox and became a worldwide hit. Like A Rolling Stone Bob Dylan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=syNLBJ_Lq9E
FROM WIKIPEDIA, THE FREE ENCYCLOPEDIA "Like a Rolling Stone" is a 1965 song by the American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan. Its confrontational lyrics originated in an extended piece of verse Dylan wrote in June 1965, when he returned exhausted from a grueling tour of England. Dylan distilled this draft into four verses and a chorus. "Like a Rolling Stone" was recorded a few weeks later as part of the sessions for the forthcoming album Highway 61 Revisited. During a difficult two-day pre-production, Dylan struggled to find the essence of the song, which was demoed without success in 3/4 time. A breakthrough was made when it was tried in a rock music format, and rookie session musician Al Kooper improvised the organ riff for which the track is known. However, Columbia Records was unhappy with both the song's length at over six minutes and its heavy electric sound, and was hesitant to release it. It was only when a month later a copy was leaked to a new popular music club and heard by influential DJ's that the song was put out as a single. Although radio stations were reluctant to play such a long track. Critics have described the track as revolutionary in its combination of different musical elements, the youthful, cynical sound of Dylan's voice, and the directness of the question "How does it feel?" "Like a Rolling Stone" transformed Dylan's image from folk singer to rock star, and is considered one of the most influential compositions in postwar popular music. The song has been covered by numerous artists, from The Jimi Hendrix Experience and The Rolling Stones to The Wailers and Green Day. EXCERPT: BOB DYLAN INTERVIEW The title is not a reference to The Rolling Stones. It is taken from the phrase "A rolling stone gathers no moss." Dylan got the idea from the Hank Williams song "Lost Highway," which contains the line, "I'm a rolling stone, I'm alone and lost." 60 MINUTES BOB DYLAN INTERVIEW - ED BRADLEY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKkZcgrec8A DYLAN BASED THE LYRICS ON A SHORT STORY HE HAD WRITTEN ABOUT A DEBUTANTE WHO BECOMES A LONER WHEN SHE FALLS OUT OF HIGH SOCIETY. THE LYRICS THAT MADE IT INTO THE SONG ARE ONLY A SMALL PART OF WHAT WAS IN THE STORY. BIG BREAKTHROUGH ON RADIO
Like a Rolling Stone runs 6:13. It was a big breakthrough when this got radio play and became a hit, since many stations refused to play songs much longer than 3 minutes. It was also rare for a song with so many lyrics to do well commercially. POOR LITTLE RICH GIRL It is rumored that this was written about one-time debutante Edie Sedgwick, who was part of artist Andy Warhol's crowd. She was the subject of an emotional tug-of-war between the Dylan camp and the Warhol camp. According to this theory, the song includes some fanged, accusatory lines about Warhol and the way he mistreated the girl: "Ain't it hard when you discover that He really wasn't where it's at After he took from you everything he could steal".
"Poor Little Rich Girl" Sedgwick is viewed by many as the tragic victim of a long succession of abusive figures. After escaping home and heading to New York, she ran into Warhol, who soon began to use her as his starlet. When her 15 minutes had come to an end, Warhol moved on. Sedgwick and Dylan had a brief affair shortly before the musician married Sarah Lownds, and many say that this Dylan song was written about her. It should be noted that there is absolutely nothing beyond circumstantial evidence to support this idea, but the myth is so widely known that it's taken on a life of its own and is therefore recognizable on its own terms. However, Dylan might be telling you the truth when he says "I don't know what it means, what does it mean to you?'" The Rolling Stones - Like A Rolling Stone - OFFICIAL PROMO https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRYokc3VBC4 THE ROLLING STONES The Rolling Stones recorded this for their 1995 album Stripped. Stones guitarist Keith Richards explained: "We got over the built-in reticence. If he [Bob Dylan] had written 'Like a Beatles,' we probably would have done it straight away. We've been playing that song ever since Bob brought it out; it was like a dressing room favorite, a tuning room favorite. We know it really well. It was just a matter of screwing up the courage, really, to get over the feeling like we were riding on its back. We also realized that, hey, we took our name from a Muddy Waters album, a Muddy Waters song. Suddenly it didn't feel awkward to play it."
JIMI HENDRIX - LIKE A ROLLING STONE (Live At Monterey) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpjaISwrZUg JIMI HENDRIX
Jimi Hendrix's performance of this song at Monterey is a classic. Hendrix had made a name for himself in Europe, but didn't manage to make a dent in the US market until the fabled Summer of Love. It happened at the Monterey Pop Festival in June 1967. All of a sudden, an artist who had struggled unsuccessfully for recognition in his own country became one of its future music legends.
THE TRUE STORY: Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven"
The song originated in 1970 when Jimmy Page and Robert Plant were spending time at Bron-Yr-Aur, a remote cottage in Wales, following Led Zeppelin's fifth American concert tour.
According to Page, he wrote the music "over a long period, the first part coming at Bron-Yr-Aur one night". Page always kept a cassette recorder around, and the idea for "Stairway" came together from bits of taped music.
I had these pieces, these guitar pieces, that I wanted to put together. I had a whole idea of a piece of music that I really wanted to try and present to everybody and try and come to terms with. Bit difficult really, because it started on acoustic, and as you know it goes through to the electric parts. But we had various run-throughs [at Headley Grange] where I was playing the acoustic guitar and jumping up and picking up the electric guitar.
Robert was sitting in the corner, or rather leaning against the wall, and as I was routinizing the rest of the band with this idea and this piece, he was just writing.
And all of a sudden he got up and started singing, along with another run-through, and he must have had 80% of the words there ... I had these sections, and I knew what order they were going to go in, but it was just a matter of getting everybody to feel comfortable with each gear shift that was going to be coming.
Sound engineer Andy Johns recalls the circumstances surrounding the recording of Page's famous solo:
I remember Jimmy had a little bit of trouble with the solo on "Stairway to Heaven"... He hadn't completely figured it out.
Nowadays you sometimes spend a whole day doing one thing. Back then, we never did that. We never spent a very long time recording anything.
I remember sitting in the control room with Jimmy, he's standing there next to me and he'd done quite a few passes and it wasn't going anywhere. I could see he was getting a bit paranoid and so I was getting paranoid. I turned around and said "You're making me paranoid!" And he said, "No, you're making me paranoid!" It was a silly circle of paranoia. Then bang! On the next take or two he ripped it out.
JIMMY PAGE
We were careful never to release it as a single. It was a milestone for us. Every musician wants to do something of lasting quality, something which will hold up for a long time and I guess we did it with "Stairway"! Pete Townshend probably thought that he got it with Tommy. I don't know whether I have the ability to come up with more. I have to do a lot of hard work before I can get anywhere near those stages of consistent, total brilliance.
ROBERT PLANT
Plant made his negative impression of the song clear in interviews. In 1988, he stated: I'd break out in hives if I had to sing ("Stairway to Heaven") in every show. I wrote those lyrics and found that song to be of some importance and consequence in 1971, but 17 years later, I don't know. It's just not for me. I sang it at the Atlantic Records show because I'm an old softies and it was my way of saying thank you to Atlantic because I've been with them for 20 years. But no more of "Stairway to Heaven" for me.
STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN
"Stairway to Heaven" is often rated among the greatest rock songs of all time. According to music journalist Stephen Davis, although the song was released in 1971, it took until 1973 before the song's popularity ascended to truly "anthemic" status.
JIMMY PAGE
As Page himself recalled, "I knew it was good, but I didn't know it was going to be almost like an anthem ... But I knew it was the gem of the album, sure."
ROBERT PLANT
The lyrics came to Robert Plant in a flash of inspiration when he and Jimmy Page were sitting by the fireplace at Headley Grange with Page strumming the intro chords.
"I was holding a pencil and paper, and for some reason I was in a very bad mood. Then all of a sudden my hand was writing out the words, 'There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold/And she's buying a stairway to heaven.' I just sat there and looked at the words and then I almost jumped out of my seat."
DID THE DEVIL HAVE ROLE IN CREATING THE SONG?Plant's implication that something else was moving his pencil for him led to speculation that it was Satan who was dictating the words, and along with the backward messages and Page's Aleister Crowley connection, there was enough evidence for many listeners that the devil had some role in creating this song.
This is rumored to contain backward satanic messages, as if Led Zeppelin sold their souls to the devil in exchange for "Stairway To Heaven." Supporting this theory is the fact that Jimmy Page bought Aleister Crowley's house in Scotland, known as Boleskine House. In his books, Crowley advocated that his followers learn to read and speak backwards.
Robert Plant addressed the issue in an interview with Musician magazine: "Stairway To Heaven was written with every best intention, and as far as reversing tapes and putting messages on the end, that's not my idea of making music. It's really sad. the first time I heard it was early in the morning when I was living at home, and I heard it on a news program. I was absolutely drained all day. I walked around, and I couldn't actually believe, I couldn't take people seriously who could come up with sketches like that. There are a lot of people who are making money there, and if that's the way they need to do it, then do it without my lyrics. I cherish them far too much."
STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven Live https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Q7Vr3yQYWQ
Stairway To Heaven is 8:03 long, in spite of that it has become one of the most-played songs on American radio, proving that people wouldn't tune out just because a song was long.
It was a perfect fit for FM radio, which was a newer format challenging the established AM with better sound quality and more variety. "Stairway To Heaven" fit nicely into what was called the "Album Oriented Rock" format, and later became a staple of Classic Rock.
By most measures, it is the most-played song in the history of American FM radio. It has also sold more sheet music than any other rock song - about 10,000 to 15,000 copies a year, and more than one million total.
Jimmy Page has a strong affinity for this song, and felt Robert Plant's lyrics were his best yet. He had him write all of Zeppelin's lyrics from then on.
In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine (March 13, 1975) the interviewer, Cameron Crowe, asked Jimmy Page how important "Stairway To Heaven" was to him: Page replied: "To me, I thought 'Stairway' crystallized the essence of the band. It had everything there and showed the band at its best... as a band, as a unit. Not talking about solos or anything, it had everything there. We were careful never to release it as a single. It was a milestone for us.
Every musician wants to do something of lasting quality, something which will hold up for a long time and I guess we did it with 'Stairway. I don't know whether I have the ability to come up with more. I have to do a lot of hard work before I can get anywhere near those stages of consistent, total brilliance."

"Why Me" was recorded by Kris Kristofferson in 1972, and features backing vocals by soon-to-be wife Rita Coolidge and up-and-coming singer-songwriter Larry Gatlin. It was included on the album, Jesus Was a Capricorn and, in 1973, the song became the biggest hit of his career.
According to country music historian Bill Malone, Kris Kristofferson wrote the song during an emotionally low period of his life after having attended a religious service conducted by the Rev. Jimmie Rogers Snow. "'Why Me, Lord'" - as the song is sometimes known - "may seem greatly out of character for Kris Kristofferson, but it can be interpreted as his own personal religious rephrasing of 'Sunday Morning Coming Down.' In this case, he is 'coming down' not from drugs, but from the whole hedonistic euphoria of the (1960s)." Malone also described Kris Kristofferson's gruff vocal styling as "perfect" for the song, since "he sounds like a man who has lived a lot but is now humbling himself before God.
Kris Kristofferson met June Carter Cash, and Johnny Cash in a hotel room in 1972 wanting to play them two songs he had written. Kris Kristofferson had just attended a rough screening of the movie "Gospel Road." According to Johnny Cash's book, "The Man in Black".
Larry Gatlin sang a song called, "Help Me" at the Evangel Temple which inspired Kris Kristofferson to write the song. Kris Kristofferson also played Cash the song, "Burden of Freedom" which was used in, "Gospel Road."
Why Me Lord; The TRUE Story - Told and Sung By Kris Kristofferson
Why me Lord what have I ever done To deserve even one of the pleasures I've known Tell me, Lord, what did I ever do That was worth lovin' you or the kindness you've shown
Lord help me, Jesus, I've wasted it so Help me Jesus I know what I am But now that I know that I've needed you so Help me, Jesus, my soul's in your hand
Try me, Lord, if you think there's a way I can try to repay all I've taken from you Maybe Lord I can show someone else What I've been through myself, on my way back to you
Lord help me, Jesus, I've wasted it so Help me Jesus I know what I am But now that I know that I've needed you so Help me, Jesus, my soul's in your hand
Lord help me, Jesus, I've wasted it so Help me Jesus I know what I am But now that I know that I've needed you so Help me Jesus my souls in your hand Jesus, my soul's in your hand.
RECOGNITION & AWARDS
"Why Me" was Kris Kristofferson's lone major country hit as a solo recording artist, reaching No. 1 of Billboard magazine's Hot Country Singles chart in July 1973. The song, despite peaking only at No. 16 of the Billboard Hot 100, had, to that time, one of the longer runs (19 weeks) in the top 40, and the most chart reversals (6) in one run on the Hot 100.
As a result, ironically, the song managed to be ranked as the second most popular Hot 100 single of 1973.
"Why Me" was certified gold for sales of 1 million units by the Recording Industry Association of America.
GREAT PERFORMANCES Elvis Presley incorporated the song, titled as "Why Me Lord", into his live shows beginning in January 1974 up until his last concert tour.
It was first released on the live album, Elvis Recorded Live On Stage In Memphis in June 1974. The recording is from his March 20, 1974 concert in Memphis, Tennessee. He often introduced the song for J.D. Sumner to sing "one of his favorite songs." Sumner would sing the verses and Elvis would join on the chorus along with the back-up singers.
He also recorded the other side of the single, "Help Me", written by Larry Gatlin in December 1973 and which remained part of his live shows as well.
George Jones recorded a version "Why Me Lord" for his 1974 album In a Gospel Way.
David Allan Coe also covered "Why Me Lord", on his 1977 album Texas Moon.
British singer Cliff Richard recorded a version "Why Me Lord" for his 1978 album Small Corners.
Merle Haggard recorded a version"Why Me Lord", released on the 1981 album What a Friend We Have in Jesus.
Johnny Cash also recorded a version of "Why Me Lord" on his 1994 album American Recordings.
Chicago punk band The Smoking Popes recorded a version of "Why Me Lord" for their 2001 covers album: The Party's Over.
David Crowder Band recorded a version of "Why Me Lord" for their final album, Give Us Rest, which was released in 2012.
THE TRUE STORY BEHIND - YOU AND TEQUILA Written by Matraca Berg & Deana Carter
MATRACA BERG
Matraca Berg is a singer, songwriter, and artist who has written hits for Deana Carter, Faith Hill, and Kenny Chesney. She is married to Nitty Gritty Dirt Band front man and songwriter Jeff Hanna.
You know, I wrote that years ago with Deana Carter. She was making a record on RCA and trying to get some songs written for it. We came up with that. This is sad, but Harlan Howard had died two days before, and Harlan was like an uncle to me. I was not taking it well. They had a video montage at the memorial of people sharing Harlan stories, and Harlan bought me my first shot of tequila when I was about 18. So, later on at the after party (we all went to Tootsie’s [laughs]), his kids kept buying me a shot. They wanted to do a shot of tequila with me in honor of their dad, and I hadn’t drank a shot of tequila in years. So, I got pretty sick. Two days later I was writing with Deana, and I still felt pretty terrible. I told her that story, and we got to talking about Harlan and tequila. You know, I just said, ‘I don’t know what it is, but tequila makes me crazy.’ There is something there, and boom! We wrote it in 20 minutes.
DEANA CARTER
Deana notes in the July 28 issue of Country Weekly, she put more intense focus on her songwriting after the success of Kenny Chesney’s “You and Tequila,” which she wrote with Matraca Berg.
“It’s like I went from zero to 60 all of a sudden,” Deana says. “I was writing more and traveling more. So I had all these songs laying around and I thought that I needed to do something with them. We decided to put them on this record.” Kenny Chesney - You And Tequila ft. Grace Potter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8XkLrErSHw
Angie is one of my all time favorite love songs. I am so happy to finally have the REAL story behind the song!
The initial speculation was: Angie was written about Angela Bowie or Marianne Faithful. I have found the truth from quotesKeith Richards and Mick Jagger!
Keith Richards
I had the whole chord sequence down maybe a year ago with just the title Angie. It could have been Randy or Mangy or anything, you know, but Mick just picked up on the title and wrote a song around it. He added the strings - all the strings on the album are his idea.
I don't know who chose it as a single. I think somebody said that it would make a change and that it would get a heavy reaction on AM stations. I'm really not interested in picking singles.
The basic melody and the title were mine. I don't think you can write really interesting rock and roll songs if you can't get into ballads and slower stuff. Quite often when you write a ballad it ends up as something else.
Once we've got a song we tussle around with it, roll in the dirt with it. I'd recently had my daughter born, who's name was Angela, and the name was starting to ring around the house. But I'm into writing about my babies. Angie just fitted. I mean, you couldn't sing 'Maureen'...
- Keith Richards, 1993
Mick Jagger
I think Keith wrote the first line, I think it was his daughter (Angela). It was about love coming to a full stop. The actual name, I'm not sure where it came from, it's not about Angela Bowie. I think it's Keith's daughter's name.
I've said about a hundred million times that it wasn't (about Angela Bowie)... I don't think I had even met Angela Bowie when I wrote the rest of the lyrics.
- Mick Jagger, February 2002
Angie by Mick Jagger & Keith Richards
Angie, Angie, when will those clouds all disappear? Angie, Angie, where will it lead us from here? With no loving in our souls and no money in our coats You cant say were satisfied But Angie, Angie, you cant say we never tried Angie, you're beautiful, but ain't it time we said good-bye? Angie, I still love you, remember all those nights we cried? All the dreams we held so close seemed to all go up in smoke Let me whisper in your ear: Angie, Angie, where will it lead us from here? Oh, Angie, don't you weep, all your kisses still taste sweet I hate that sadness in your eyes But Angie, Angie, ain't it time we said good-bye? With no loving in our souls and no money in our coats You cant say were satisfied But Angie, I still love you, baby Everywhere I look I see your eyes There ain't a woman that comes close to you Come on baby, dry your eyes But Angie, Angie, ain't it good to be alive? Angie, Angie, they cant say we never tried!
